What’s happening

The Wellington region PHOs invite you all to the launch of the One Heart Many Lives Wellington region magazine. Free heart health checks are being offered to enrolled patients of Ora Toa health Services over the morning.
If you are not a patient with Ora Toa PHO, there will be information available about other PHO services in the region.

  • Tamati Davis going to tell his story about his journey back to heart health over the past three years.
  • Kapa Haka
  • Ray Bishop and Box Juice will entertain with songs from their new album, One Heart Many Lives. We will also have FREE copies to give away.
  • Local heroes and dignitaries will be there along with some nationwide personalities.
  • Stilt walkers
  • Draw your Dad competition for children and face painting
  • Health food cooking demonstration
  • Give aways

Heart Checks

What it will cost? For this event it’s FREE to all Ora Toa PHO enrolled patients.
How long will it take? About 30 minutes
Who will do it? The nurse or doctor
Will it hurt? No.
Do I have to take my clothes off ? No.
Will I have to do some exercise? No.
